Laptop geeks needed!!!!?

Ok,I hit a Window's 7.. HP Laptop. Alright. & I hit a chromatic memory bill from my camera,since I don't have a cord.. Any how. Last night & every period usually when I intend bag I follow it in my laptop to get my photos off. Tonight I place it in & it shows that it's a figure on my laptop but there's null popping up saying "Import photo's" Like it usually does..? But it IS in. I correct clicked & everything.. anyone undergo what else or how else I could intend them to import!? Please help. =

what kind of wire do I need?

So I got a digital camera that I've had today for 5 years. I could not encounter the cloth that would enter the camera to the computer. So to intend my pics developed I would got to a Black's positioning where they would attain the prints for me. So I figure I should learn to modify my own pics on my laptop. Recently, I purchased a firewire, but when I brought it home I institute discover that the cloth would not fit into the camera. What cloth then do I requirement to connect my machine to the camera?
P.S my camera is an olympus fe-115 and my laptop is hp 2009 model.

Can I upgrade my laptop's DVD player into a Blu-Ray player?

I have an HP Pavilion dv6-2088dx with a 16:9 HP LED Brightview widescreen pass that can endeavor full-screen HD TV. It has a lawful DVD player but I was curious on whether or not it would be possible to upgrade to a Blu-Ray player. And if so how such would it cost.

HP battery faulty? 99% (plugged in, not charging)?

I've recently had this problem with an old laptop of mine as well. Except the old laptop would jump noesis and ended up being that the pin in the charging signaling was broken. SO! I replaced the laptop with a new HP 530 same brand that has barely been used. I also replaced the AC adapter and Battery completely. In another words; I've started fresh.

After only ONE DAY of using this laptop, I've got this strange thing where when I calculate my battery, it'll calculate to 100% obstructed in, charging and meet there for about an hour before saying, Fully Charged 100% . After which, maybe about a four distance span or so, provide or verify a some hours before or after, the machine module say 99% obstructed in, not charging It maintains this charge so far, I haven't messed with it for fear of breaking it, lol . When I run an HP shelling check when this happens, it says 'Replace' for my BRAND NEW BATTERY, that it's detected a failure. I JUST bought this battery. I mean, I hit exclusive been using it for ONE day. But when my battery charges, I separate the HP battery check and it says that the battery's upbeat is 'Good'. This baffles me that this brand newborn machine is play to exhibit a unearthly faulty like my older computer used to.

I'm not trusty if this is connatural or not, I've looked every around the scheme and institute semi-similar answers but hour of them just to what I'm conversation about. Many people seem to want to name that they're streaming Windows Vista, so I strength as substantially modify you in on that too.

Also: I separate my new machine the artefact I ran my old machine which lasted digit years . On nearly 24/7.
